Welcome! I'm Brian...

I am training to become an elementary teacher while I work as a special education aide at Nikiski North Star. For my educational technology class, we made this nifty website.

One thing I appreciate about my technology class is that we achieved our goal of socially constructing knowledge. Technology has many tools to help us in creating learning communities. Playing around with them these past two months has been helpful. Technology isn't going anywhere in education. While I could resist it's creeping influence on classroom instruction, I found there is more value to seizing the initiative and mastering it.
